Software Engineer /BI ETL

Planning, installation and evaluation of SAP Business Objects 4.X Servers on Windows
servers and Unix servers. Creating test cases and verifying installations
● Developing and Testing security models for application users and granting user’s access to
folders and objects, and to applications

● Creating performance tests, and sizing and scaling of SAP Business Objects environments
and Servers; performance tuning of windows servers: Splitting APS service, Clustering,
Custom settings
● Requirements gathering and deployment and clustering of Apache/Tomcat servers for web
application deployment
● Testing and evaluating several upgrade scenarios and upgrading the Business Objects Servers
to higher service packs and fix packs. Fixing issues and working with SAP support to
escalate issues.
● Developing scripts for day to day maintenance of environments
● Installation planning and implementation of SAP Data Services 4.2 along with Information
Platform Services, Information Steward on Linux environments
● Testing several service packs, and planning and upgrading of SAP Data Services
Environments to higher Service packs
● Configuring the application platforms with the industry best practices and creating several
cluster nodes for redundancy and fail over.
● Follow the change management process and work on migration of SAP Data Services and
Business Objects applications’ code from Development systems to the Production systems.
● Planning the design, installation and clustering of Alteryx Server products on Windows 2016
servers.
● Testing the SAP Business Objects, Data services designer and Alteryx designer on desktops
and creating sccm packages, and client products on windows 10 machines.
● Installing certificates and configuring SSL to provide a secure web-based application.
● Maintenance and Production Support of SAP Business Objects 4.X environments, Data
Services environments and Alteryx 2019.4 Environments; understanding the technical issues,
debugging and resolving them in timely manner. Providing any software training to the users
as and when required

Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems,
information technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S.
equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects
